ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET Calls It Quits

December 17, 2012

ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET — the Swedish band featuring THE CROWN vocalist Johan Lindstrand — has officially called it quits.

Says Lindstrand: "The time has come to say goodbye. It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone since the last year hasn't exactly been favored to ONE MAN ARMY. I no longer feel that strong towards what the band meant in the beginning. The first 3-4 years were magic defined but sadly that magic couldn't last.

"Me and all the members, past and present, would like to thank you all a million times for your support. We had a blast most of the times. I will now continue my ride with THE CROWN. May ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET rest in peace. This legacy will forever be with me and hopefully with you too!"

Lindstrand rejoined THE CROWN in September 2011 following the departure of Jonas Stålhammar.

ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET last year parted ways with guitarist Mattias Bolander and replaced him with Pierre Lysell.

"Skeletons Of Rose Hall" comes off ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET's fourth full-length album, "The Dark Epic", which was released in Europe on February 25, 2011. The CD was recorded at Black Lounge studios in Avesta, Sweden with producer Jonas Kjellgren (SCAR SYMMETRY, CARNAL FORGE). The cover artwork was created by Björn Goosses of Killustrations.
