ONCE DEAD: Recording Update

February 8, 2007

ONCE DEAD, the Christian metal band featuring former members of VENGEANCE RISING alongside HIRAX guitarist Glenn Rogers, has issued the following update:

As far as the [new ONCE DEAD] album [entitled 'Visions of Hell'] goes; we have completed the drum tracks and Bryan Jay (our producer) has been working with fixing a few issues with cymbal and tom noises. Now that he has isolated each drum, he has been able to work with drum tones etc. and it sounds incredible. Jim [Chaffin] has done an awesome job and we couldn't be more pleased with how it sounds. Our next move is laying down finish guitars and bass. This should take a couple weeks due to our limited time schedules. Once the rhythm parts have all been tracked we will start with the solo tracks etc. Devin [Shaeffer] will come down and lay down the vocals at the tail-end of the project. At that point everything will pretty much be mixed and all that would be left are a few added bells and whistles and mastering. In summary, this album is the best-sounding album we have ever done, and we don't think anyone will be disappointed."
