April 29, 2013

According to PupFresh.com, vocalist Austin Carlile of Southern California rockers OF MICE & MEN was fined $335 earlier today in connection with his arrest on March 30 in Bowling Green, Ohio on a felonious assault charge after police responded to a fight between two groups of people in the street and one person lying on the ground unconscious. Also arrested was the band's drum technician, Lionel Robinson II.

The victim was transported to Wood County Hospital with fractured nasal bones, Sgt. Jason Stanley of the Bowling Green Police Division said.

Carlile and Robinson were booked in the Wood County Justice Center and were released shortly after their video arraignment. Their bonds were set at $25,000 and posted by a bail bondsman, according to Bowling Green Municipal Court officials.

OF MICE & MEN's music video for the song "The Depths" can be seen below. The clip was shot in the U.K. by Sitcom Soldiers (HYRO DA HERO, BURY TOMORROW) during the band's headline tour.

"The Depths" appears on the 2012 expanded edition of OF MICE & MEN's breakthrough 2011 sophomore release "The Flood", which features four brand new tracks recorded with producer Cameron Webb (MOTÖRHEAD, SOCIAL DISTORTION) and mixed by Joey Sturgis.
