ODUM Releases Second EP

June 6, 2009

Los Angeles, California-based metal band ODUM has just released its self-titled second EP, which marks the group's official return to activities. Currently, ODUM has only two members, remnants of the former lineup — Rob Zeinum (vocals/guitars) and Gus Conde (drums). The German musician and producer Ralf Krashkarma was chosen to head the project, which was recorded at Ralf's studio in Hollywood.

"First, our new promo celebrates new life. This work just demonstrates the art of mixing heavy music with any possibly existing element," says Rob. "The art of heavy music is wide and ODUM has room for all the seas of imagination."

Says Gus, "The expectations around ODUM's coming back will be intense, with new tunes and productions. The search for several kinds of music and influences has been delayed and we'll keep exploring our creativity," He adds, "musically, the sounds are more mature and creative, with both rapid and balanced parts at the same time, with more weight, and the most important, with a positive message and more critical sense. Everything we do is based on the experiences of life in which we all pass through."

ODUM is holding auditions for a new bassist (preferably female) to participate in future showcases in the Los Angeles area, to be followed by a North American tour.
