ODIN To Release CD Collection In January

November 23, 2008

ODIN, the classic Los Angeles band featuring Jeff Duncan (ARMORED SAINT, DC4),Shawn Duncan (DC4),Aaron Samson and Randy O, will release a new 18-song compilation in January 2009. Much of the material on the collection has never been available on CD before and ALL of it has been remastered by Roy Z, the producer behind recent albums from JUDAS PRIEST, HELLOWEEN, HALFORD, BRUCE DICKINSON, SEBASTIAN BACH and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN. According to a press release, the EP "Don't Take No For An Answer" will be included, which is the first time the entire EP has been available on CD. Also included will be the best tracks from "Fight For Your Life", "The Gods Must Be Crazy" and "Caution", like "Shining Love", "The Writer", "Little Gypsy" and "Twelve O'Clock High". Additionally, a special bonus track recorded this past summer — a brand new song called "Let The Show Begin" — will be included.

The CD is now available for purchase directly from the band through a special pre-sale promotion. Pre-sale orders will be shipped in mid-January and will be autographed by all the band members. Shortly after the pre-sale shipments are made, the album will go on sale through places like CD Baby and iTunes.

ODIN made a triumphant return to the stage at Rocklahoma 2008 (see video footage below) and is perhaps best known for its jacuzzi interview scene and two live performances in the classic motion picture "The Decline Of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years".
