OBITUARY's scheduled headlining performance at the Mean Fiddler in London, England on Sunday, January 8 was cancelled "due to immigration issues," according to several signs that were posted at the venue. The other bands on the tour — including Switzerland's SAMAEL — went ahead and played the gig as scheduled. An official statement on the matter is expected soon.As previously reported, OBITUARY shot a video for the track "On the Floor" at their December 9, 2005 concert at the Masquerade in Ybor City, Florida. OBITUARY are touring in support of their latest CD, "Frozen in Time", which was released in July 2005 via Roadrunner Records. The group's first collection of new songs since 1997's "Back from the Dead" was self-produced by the band, with Mark Prator and Scott Burns engineering, and was mastered by Tom Morris at Morrisound.
