NOVEMBERS DOOM Announce New Bassist

Chicago doomsters NOVEMBERS DOOM have announced the addition of bassist Brian Whited (ex-AVERNUS, DEAD SERENADE) to the group's ranks. "Brian has played with us occasionally in the past, and fits in very well with us both musically and personally," the band write on their web site. "We're pleased to have him back with us now, and he will make his public debut with us in the music video for 'The Pale Haunt Departure', the title track of our new CD which is due to be released March 8th, 2005."

"The Pale Haunt Departure" clip "was filmed on Sunday, January 23 with the help of production company Autumn's End Entertainment.

As previously reported, a brand new NOVEMBERS DOOM track, entitled "Swallowed by the Moon", has been made available for download at this location.

The follow-up to 2002's "To Welcome The Fade", "The Pale Haunt Departure" was mixed by Swedish producer/musician Dan Swanö (BLOODBATH, EDGE OF SANITY, NIGHTINGALE) and was mastered by James Murphy (DEATH, OBITUARY, TESTAMENT). Cover artwork was designed by Attila Kis of Demateria.
