NOTHINGFACE: We Have Not Broken Up!

August 21, 2003

NOTHINGFACE have issued a statement confirming their withdrawal from this year's Ozzfest and addressing the rumors of the group's imminent split.

The band's statement reads as follows:

"We'd like to clear up all the rumors surrounding our recent departure from Ozzfest. First and foremost, WE HAVE NOT BROKEN UP! NOTHINGFACE is still very much a band! Due to an unforeseen tour budget cut-back, with great regret, we were unable to continue on Ozzfest. We would like to thank everyone associated with Ozzfest 2003 for giving us the opportunity to bring our music to the masses. We had the best summer of our music career playing in front of huge crowds, making friends and best of all seeing our old die hard fans as well as meeting new ones.

"As for our immediate future, we will be playing our last show of the summer on August 30th in our hometown of Baltimore, MD. After that, we will be on hiatus until all our business matters are attended to and straightened out.

"Again, we sincerely apologize to all our friends and fans for not being able to come to your cities and play. For all of you who drove hours to see us and were met with this unfortunate cancellation, we promise that we will make it up to you…real soon!!

"Sincerely, Matt, Tom, Bill & Tommy"
