November 30, 2009

Southern Florida's NONPOINT will release an acoustic digital EP, "Cut The Cord", on December 8 via its own 954 Records in partnership with Rocket Science Ventures / RED / Sony. The five-song effort features acoustic renditions of NONPOINT classics "What A Day", "Circles", "Rabia", "Victim" and "Your Signs".

The EP is now available for streaming in its entirety at AOL Music.

NONPOINT recently entered Belle City Sound in Racine, Wisconsin to begin recording a new full-length album with YEP! Productions' Chad Gray and Greg Tribbett (also members of MUDVAYNE and HELLYEAH) at the helm. The CD is slated for a spring 2010 release.

To close out the momentous year, NONPOINT will perform live in Madison, Ft. Lauderdale and Tempe (see dates below) and in celebration of the holidays, 500 digital downloads will be given to the first 500 ticket purchasers at each show.

See NONPOINT live in December:

Dec. 12 - Madison, WI @ The Barrymore Theater (WJJO Xmas show)
Dec. 26 - Ft Lauderdale, FL @ Club Revolution
Dec. 31 - Tempe, AZ @ Tempe Fiesta Bowl Block Party (KUPD NYE Show)

NONPOINT's fifth studio album, "Vengeance", was released in November 2007. The CD was recorded at Bieler Bros. Studios in Pompano Beach, Florida with producer Matt LaPlant (SIKTH).

"Vengeance" was the follow-up to the acclaimed "To The Pain" CD, which featured the breakout single "Bullet With A Name".

NONPOINT teamed up with MUDVAYNE and IN THIS MOMENT for a U.S. tour in February/March.
