NINE INCH NAILS, ALICE IN CHAINS, SCARS ON BROADWAY and LAMB OF GOD are among the confirmed headliners for Australia's Soundwave 2009 festival.

Dates for the festival are as follows:

Saturday, February 21 - Brisbane
Sunday, February 22 - Sydney
Friday, February 27 - Melbourne
Saturday, February 28 - Adelaide
Monday, March 2 - Perth

To register for early-bird tickets, head to www.soundwavefestival.com and enter your e-mail address. Early-bird tickets are $110 plus booking fee and strictly limited. Regular tickets will be $130 plus booking fee and go on sale on these dates:

Brisbane: Thursday, October 11 at 9:00am
Sydney: Friday, October 12 at 9:00am
Melbourne: Saturday, October 13 at 9:00am
Adelaide: Sunday, October 14 at 9:00am
Perth: Sunday, October 14 at 9:00am
