Nine shirts from Dragonfly, featuring designs from Nikki Sixx (MÖTLEY CRÜE) tattoos, have been made available through Hot Topic (in stores and online). Check it out here.As previously reported, N. Sixx by Dragonfly offers fans of the bad-boy rocker the chance to emulate his style without the pain or permanence of the real thing. "Some of the shirts are just designs from my body," Sixx told Contra Costa Times in May. "You can take it off at the end of the night, unlike me." N. Sixx by Dragonfly is Sixx's second attempt at a clothing line. The first, Outlaw U.S.A., lacked a discernible image and subsequently tanked. "I lost my (butt) on that one," he said. But the new line of tattoo-based fabrics has gotten a good response, and Dragonfly's web site (www.dragonflyclothing.com) can't keep up with demand. "It went out in test markets and sold out immediately," Sixx said. "People came back and said, 'Man, we need more designs.' So we made more designs -- they sold out immediately. So then they came back and said, 'We need a full line.' And then they said they wanted a line of women's stuff. I was like, 'Oh, my God. Have I bitten off more than I can chew?'"
