NIGHTMARE To Enter Studio In April

January 22, 2005

French power metallers NIGHTMARE will enter the studio on April 11 to begin recording their seventh album, tentatively due late summer/early fall through an as-yet-undetermined label.

NIGHTMARE's most recent studio album, "Silent Room", was released in October 2003 through the group's previous label, Napalm Records. "Silent Room" was produced by Terje Refsnes (TRISTANIA, SIRENIA) at Soundsuite Studio in France during March/April 2003, and was mastered at Finnvox studio in Helsinki, Finland by Mika Jussila (NIGHTWISH, STRATOVARIUS).

Regarding their split with Napalm, the band previously stated, "We will never forget what this label has done for us so far, giving us the breath for a second birth in 1999. [Being that] Napalm Records [are] focusing [on] a completely different music style from what we offer, we simply decided all together that it would be better for us to find a more suitable label for what we have to offer. We are now out of contracts and currently considering new offers for releasing our seventh album! Any companies wishing to contact us about our current situation can reach us at [email protected] or through our management."
