New DARK NEW DAY Guitarist Speaks

June 1, 2008

Former SWITCHED (a.k.a. SW1TCHED) guitarist Bradley "BC" Kochmit, who recently replaced Clint Lowery in DARK NEW DAY, has released the following statement regarding his new gig:

"First and foremost, I just want to let everyone know how honored I am to be the new guitar player for DARK NEW DAY. I have so much respect for every member of this band (past and present) that it's very difficult to describe, but if I had to sum it all up in one word ... that word would be 'family.'

"All you DARK NEW DAY fans out there that don't know me can rest assured that I will do my damnedest to make this band every bit as amazing and ass-kicking as it was before I came into the picture. Those of you that DO know me and know what I'm all about are gonna be like a little kid on Christmas morning, for damn sure!"

DARK NEW DAY's current lineup is rounded out by Clint's brother Corey Lowery (bass; ex-STEREOMUD, STUCK MOJO) Brett Hestla (vocals/guitar; ex-CREED, VIRGOS MERLOT) and Will Hunt (drums; EVANESCENCE, ex-SKRAPE, TOMMY LEE).

DARK NEW DAY released its debut album, "Twelve Year Silence", in June of 2005. The disc featured the single "Brother". A follow-up has since been completed featuring Clint Lowery on guitar but a release date for the effort has not yet been announced.
