August 14, 2011

NEMHAIN the U.K.-based band featuring drummer Adrian Erlandsson (AT THE GATES, PARADISE LOST, ex-CRADLE OF FILTH) and his wife, Amber has made its new EP, "The Murder Mile", available for free download at this location (ZIP file, 22 MB).

Commented the group: "It has been some time since the last aural assault from your favorite noise mongers. We have been working hard at our second full-length album, which is due to be recorded at the end of this year. We decided that we wanted to share some of the new material with you to shorten the wait for the full album! So we teamed up with Mr. James Dunkley at Murdermile Studios and recorded the 'The Murder Mile' four-track EP for your listening pleasure! The tracks are 'Natural Born Sinners', 'Seriously Ill' and 'Love For Death' Also we have included a slow disturbing version of CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL's classic 'Bad Moon Rising', which is a favorite of ours that we have been playing live during the last year.

"So what are you waiting for get downloading, copy it to your friends and spread the NEMHAIN plague!!!"

NEMHAIN's debut album, "From The Ashes", was released in January 2010 via Tiefdruck-Musik. The CD was recorded and mixed over a three-week period in April 2008 at Studio Fredman in Hyssna, Sweden.

NEMHAIN's video for the song "Second Skin" can be viewed below. The clip was filmed in January 2009 at a west London studio with Dr. Palser (MY DYING BRIDE, SALVATION, IMMORTAL) and it features Gramdrax of TED MAUL filling in for Peter Dolving of THE HAUNTED, who duets with Morrigan on the track.

"Second Skin" is a cover version of a song by THE GITS, one of the more noteworthy rock outfits to emerge from Seattle in the early '90s.
