NEGATIVA Cancels Dates

July 30, 2007

NEGATIVA, the Quebec-based band featuring former GORGUTS members Steeve Hurdle (guitar, vocals) and Luc Lemay (guitar, vocals),along with Etienne Gallo (drums, AUGURY) and Miguel Valade (bass, ex-ION DISSONANCE),has issued the following update:

"We're really disappointed to announce that we have to cancel the shows scheduled from August 1-3 in Toronto, Hamilton and London. The guitarist/vocalist Big Steeve Hurdle had a back injury on Sunday, and he should rest for at least one week. We were looking forward to do these shows because they were the very first ones for the band. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a little longer before to hit the stage for the first time. As of today, we have no fixed plans about rescheduling the three dates but we'll try to make it up for our Ontario fans before the end of the year if we can. Thanks for your understanding."

NEGATIVA recently returned to Wild Studio with producers Pierre Remillard and Jean-Yves Theriault (a.k.a. Blacky, former bassist of VOIVOD) to record three new songs. "We have nearly 75 minutes of new music ready for the album and we're very anxious to share it with all of you," Hurdle previously stated. "We'd like to warn you that our new songs are nothing like what you heard on the MCD; they're more ambient and emotional. We've also made some changes to our vocals."

Upcoming NEGATIVA shows:

Sep. 02 - Club Soda, Montreal (Quebec) - 25 Years of Quebec Metal Festival
