NATRON Parts Ways With Singer, Bassist; Replacements Announced

October 22, 2006

Italian death metallers NATRON have issued the following update:

"We sadly have to foward the decision of Mike Tarantino to leave the band after nine years of road stories and three albums!!!!! We feel really upset about this but we respect Mike's will to quit the music scene for good. Anyway he will continue to work for NATRON as webmaster and graphic designer. We take this chance to thank him for all his efforts, laughs and good time spent together during all these years: 'THANK YOU!!!\m/

"So, we have a new singer in the person of Raffaele Fanelli, coming from local death band MOTHERLY SIN, who is going to replace Mike behind the microphone stand already for this upcoming tour! We're happy that Raffaele is get on well together with the band day by day.

"One more [piece of] news is that our bass player Lorenzo 'Funj' Signorile won't be able to tour due for his momentary job commitments so he will be replaced at the bass by Ottavio Marzo, lead guitarist of local melodic deathsters GOLEM.

"Definitely we faced some serious line up troubles but we're getting ready for the upcoming tour and even in the middle of this 'chaos' we managed to record a three-track promo EP called 'EP Resurrection 006', which is not for sale but just for labels."

NATRON will team up with DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER and ROTTING FAITH for a European tour beginning on November 24 in Milan, Italy. A list of upcoming shows can be found at this location.
