January 14, 2004

MY DYING BRIDE have set a March 9 U.S. release date through Peaceville Records for their eighth album, "Songs Of Darkness, Words Of Light".

Recorded at Academy Studios under the watchful eye of Mags, "Songs of Darkness, Words of Light" features what is possibly the six-piece band's most commercial song to date — the graceful "My Wine In Silence".

"Songs of Darkness, Words of Light" track listing:

01. The Wreckage of My Flesh
02. The Scarlet Garden
03. Catherine Blake
04. My Wine in Silence
05. The Prize of Beauty
06. Blue Lotus
07. And My Fury Stands Ready
08. A Doomed Lover

Album artwork was conceived by Andy Green, who worked with the band for 1996's "Like Gods of the Sun".

MY DYING BRIDE are currently completing work on their first video in nearly five years, for the album track "The Prize of Beauty". Producer and conceptual details are not available as of press time.

Peaceville Records is a Snapper Music label and is distributed exclusively in the U.S. by Navarre Corporation.
