MUSHROOMHEAD Vocalist Reveals New Album Title In 'Iron City Rocks' Podcast

The "Iron City Rocks" podcast recently conducted an interview with Jeffrey Nothing (vocals; a.k.a. Jeffrey Hatrix) of the Ohio-based alternative metal band MUSHROOMHEAD. The chat, in which Jeffrey reveals the working title ("Slaughterhouse Road") of the group's new album, can now be streamed using the audio player below. (Note: The Jeffrey Nothing interview begins around the 17-minute mark.)

MUSHROOMHEAD entered the Filthy Hands compound in Cleveland, Ohio last year to begin work on the band's seventh studio release, which is due out late summer/early fall via Megaforce. Produced by co-founding member and drummer Steve "Skinny" Felton, the CD promises to be the band's "most violent- and epic-sounding to date!"

"Volume 2", the latest DVD from MUSHROOMHEAD, sold 2,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 7 on the Top Music Videos chart.

Other extras include video commentary, behind-the-scenes footage and band antics.
