MUSHROOMHEAD To Enter Studio This Fall

September 20, 2016

MUSHROOMHEAD, the influential industrial metal band from Cleveland, Ohio, will enter the studio this fall to record its eighth studio album. The group is also gearing up for its annual Halloween tour.

The tour starts September 30 in Lynchburg, Virginia, and concludes in Cleveland and Detroit. The annual Halloween performance is a must-see show, with fans coming from all over the world to witness the spectacle.

The band will be heading overseas in 2017 for a full European tour.

MUSHROOMHEAD is touring without vocalist Waylon Reavis, who was fired from the band last October.

MUSHROOMHEAD's current lineup still includes two vocalists, J. Mann (a.k.a. Jason Popson) and Jeffrey "Nothing" Hatrix.

The band's eighth studio album, "The Righteous & The Butterfly", sold around 11,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 20 on The Billboard 200 chart. Released on May 13, 2014 via Megaforce Records, the CD was recorded in Cleveland with longtime co-producer Bill Korecky.
