MURDERDOLLS Singer To Begin Recording Solo Album In July

June 15, 2004

MURDERDOLLS frontman Wednesday 13 will enter the studio in July to begin recording his solo debut, tentatively due before the end of the year. U.S. dates are planned for August/September, to be followed a short time later by a European tour.

In other news, Wednesday is currently finalizing a deal to release the FRANKENSTEIN DRAG QUEENS album, "6 Years, 6 Feet Under the Influence", in the U.S. The CD, which contains re-recordings and revisions of songs from all four previous albums as well as a few never-before-heard tracks from Wednesday's pre-MURDERDOLLS outfit, received a European release in March through People Like You Records.

Also on the Wednesday 13 front, the singer will be issuing several new 7" singles, including the following:

* "The Saw is Family" for Fiend Force Records in Germany.
* "Destroy All Monsters" for Scarey Records Italy.
* "A Tribute to Phantasm" split 7" featuring "Mourningside Cemetery" by Wednesday 13 and "Terrorsphere" by Killjoy (NECROPHAGIA) on Coffin Records

Wednesday has also completed his book, "The Thirteen Dead Kids and other Gruesome Scary Tales". "Mrs. 13 and I are currently trying to work out the publishing company for it, so the release date for it now is undetermined," the singer writes on his web site. "I hope to have it out this summer. Also, coming soon - The Thirteen Dead Kids dolls!!! We are working with Bump In the Night Productions to make dolls of the kids!"
