MURDER ONE: We Will Carry On!

July 29, 2002

Britain's MURDER ONE have announced plans to carry on despite late frontman Johnny Morrow's death. The band, who also feature ex-MEDULLA NOCTE members Paul Catten, Jammer and Mark, and current CHARGER guitarist Jim Palmer, played their first London show the day before Johnny passed away from heart failure on June 22nd. Vocalist Catten said: "In John Morrow's final interview he stated that this band was gonna be huge, such was his confidence and enthusiasm. We, as the remaining members of MURDER ONE intend on backing his words with action and will continue as a five-piece (who could possibly replace him??) starting with the Nottingham Morrowfest on August 18th.

"This isn't a decision we have taken lightly but after receiving the blessings of others close to him, we realize it is time to lift ourselves from this tragedy, and continue with the plan ourselves and John set out to begin with...global domination. We will make sure our man is proud of us!!!"

A tribute to the late singer, the Morrowfest is scheduled to take place on August 4th in London and August 18th in Nottingham.
