Commented singer Tony Foresta: "It's been a long time coming. We've been wanting to play these places I cannot describe how excited I am to do this."

Bassist Ryan Waste added: "I've always thought that South America was home to the most passionate heavy metal fans in the world. From watching videos and reading about shows down there, I can only imagine how awesome our gigs are going to be. I look forward to meeting all the maniacs and playing some ripping concerts this spring."

After their South American stint, the WASTE guys will head over to Japan to continue their global assault. Drummer Dave Witte cannot wait to go to Japan for the first time with MUNICIPAL WASTE. "I've been to Japan quite a few times drumming for BURNT BY THE SUN, ALEC EMPIRE and DISCORDANCE AXIS," he said. "All these trips and different crowds had one thing is common. The Japanese simply love music and have a dedication and support level off the charts, no matter what style of music. MUNICIPAL WASTE has had an overwhelming amount of requests and support about coming to Japan. We are thrilled to be able to come to Japan for the first time and share a wonderful time with you. Get ready to thrash your ass off!!"

"Massive Aggressive", the new album from MUNICIPAL WASTE, sold around 2,100 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD landed at No. 10 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"Massive Aggressive" was released on August 25 via Earache Records. According to a press release, the CD "brings the promise of the band's most ferocious and most focused album of their career." With such ferocity flowing through the whole of the album, the group knew it needed the right visuals to complement the vibe of the music. MUNICIPAL WASTE vocalist Tony Foresta claims that the only man who could get that imagery just right was Andrei Bouzikov, the artist responsible for the cover to 2007's "The Art Of Partying".

"Wrong Answer", the new video from MUNICIPAL WASTE, was filmed in New York City with director David Brodsky (SUICIDE SILENCE, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, IN THIS MOMENT) and his crew at MyGoodEye, is said to have been inspired by '70s game shows, gore, and more.
