MOURNING Working On New Album

October 14, 2007

New Jersey-based black/death metal outfit MOURNING, which features in its ranks former members of BLOODTHRONE (NJ) and DISLIMB (OH),is working on the follow-up release to its "Blinded by Hate" MCD, which was issued in 2005 on Ossuary Industries out of Houston. Entitled "Mourning the New Dawn", the new CD "picks up where [its predecessor] left off," according to a press release. "The band feels that it'll be their strongest release to date. With a new drummer in toe (J.J. Hrubovcak from DIVINE RAPTURE fame stepped down due to other commitments),MOURNING is set to set the world a flame with their own blackened New Jersey style (new drummer Rob fills in GREAT)."

In other news, MOURNING is preparing for its first show in two years, scheduled for December 7, 2007 at Dinbatz in Clifton, NJ. Also appearing on the bill are UNHALLOWED, SPEED CHAMBER and LEFT IN RUINS.
