MOTÖRHEAD Partners With FANTOONS For 'Where Is Lemmy?' Book

June 6, 2019

Legendary rock heroes find new life in an innovative line of books from Fantoons, best-known for their ongoing relationship with the famous rock n’ roll power trio RUSH. The Los Angeles-based publisher now introduces an expanded fall lineup featuring a new project created in partnership with MOTÖRHEAD. The deal was brokered by Global Merchandising Services, Inc., worldwide licensing agent for the band.

The official "Motörhead Where Is Lemmy?" hardcover volume has fifteen double-page search and find spreads filled with art inspired by MOTÖRHEAD classic albums and songs. Try to find the rock legend living his best life in the middle of the chaos of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. Turn up your fandom of Lemmy and MOTÖRHEAD to eleven with this book and a couple of drinks… and of course your favorite MOTÖRHEAD song!

MOTÖRHEAD has sold over 15 million records worldwide, and their influence has been widely touted by everyone from Dave Grohl to METALLICA and SLAYER. With a career spanning over 40 years, MOTÖRHEAD released 22 studio albums, 13 live recordings, 12 compilation albums, and four EPs. The MOTÖRHEAD legacy lives on strongly through their music and loyal fans.

This search-and0find book is the first of its kind to feature Kilmister, and kicks off an ongoing publishing partnership between Fantoons and MOTÖRHEAD!

"Lemmy IS definition of rock 'n' roll in every sense of the word: honesty and no regrets," says Fantoons creative director David Calcano. "He also had an incredible sense of humor, and that's what this book is all about: combining, sex, excess and rock 'n' roll with a twisted sense of humor that'll make you laugh and have a good time with a few drinks and LOUD MOTÖRHEAD tunes."

"Where Is Lemmy?" will arrive in finer bookstores everywhere on November 5, rounding out the publisher's fall 2019 offerings.
