MOSHPIT TRAGEDY RECORDS Announces Second Free Album Download

July 8, 2007

Last week, Canada's Moshpit Tragedy Records announced it will give away one of its out-of-print releases for free download from their web site each week for eight weeks.

Moshpit Tragedy co-founder Rayny Forster comments: "Our first eight releases are now out of print and as both a thank you and as a kind of final push to get these releases into the hands of underground music fans, we're offering a high-quality download of one release per week in its entirety — absolutely free of charge. We invite those who missed out on the physical product to check out the bands and enjoy these free MP3s."

Starting off the second week (July 8-14) of the promotion will be Hungarian thrashers STEP ON IT, with the 28 intense blasts that comprised their 2006 effort "Allschool Monster" which was released as part of Moshpit Tragedy's "DIY Series".

STEP ON IT was founded in Budapest, Hungary in 2004 and since that time has already brought their "allschool" blend of all things thrash across Europe several times to the stage with bands such as EXTEME NOISE TERROR, RATOS DE PORAO, JESUS CRUST, FILTPACT, ERROR, BATHTUB SHITTER and more. The band will open the stage for MISERY INDEX on July 17 at Kultiplex in Budapest.
