MORPHIA Calls It Quits

Long-running Dutch symphonic doom metal band MORPHIA has split up. The group will say goodbye to its fans with a special performance at the Brainstorm Festival, set to take place November 21-23 at club Gigant in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. This farewell show will be filmed and released on DVD.

Formed in 1995, MORPHIA has released three full-length albums and has played regularly at shows and festivals in the Netherlands and Germany. The group's last two CDs "Frozen Dust" (2002) and "Fading Beauty" (2004) were issued via the Dutch label Fear Dark.
