MORIFADE To Enter Studio In January

December 20, 2002

Sweden's MORIFADE will enter Los Angered Recording in Gothenburg on Jan. 20, 2003 with producer Andy LaRocque (KING DIAMOND guitarist) to begin recording their as-yet-untitled third album, due in late spring/early summer through Hammerheart Records. The band will record all the music at Los Angered before switching to Monogram Recording in Stockholm to track the vocals.

"We decided to work this way mainly for two reasons," the band explained via their official web site. "First, [singer] Stefan is living in Stockholm so he won't feel any stress facing the recording of the vocals since he will be able to do it in his own pace, second, David (Monogram Recording) is very good at producing vocals, not that we think it's anything wrong with the vocals recorded in Los Angered Recording but we wanted to try something else."

MORIFADE expect to spend four weeks recording and two weeks mixing the follow-up to this year's "Imaginarium".
