MORGION: New Album Samples Posted Online

April 20, 2004

Californian death-doomsters MORGION have uploaded several audio clips from their new album, "Cloaked By Ages, Crowned In Earth", at this location (all samples are stereo MP3, 128kbps).

The follow-up to 1999's "Solinari", "Cloaked By Ages, Crowned In Earth" was produced by Mathias Schneeberger at Donner & Blitzen Studios and contains "eight magnificent tracks, clocking in at over an hour, that begin right where 'Solinari' left off and end with a new musical beginning for the band," according to an official press release.

"Cloaked By Ages, Crowned In Earth" will mark the band's debut release since their split with Relapse Records, who issued MORGION's previous two full-length efforts, 1997's "Among Majestic Ruin" and "Solinari". All the artwork and layout was created and executed by the band's own Gary Griffith. Retail distribution in the U.S. will be handled by Telegraph/IDN with global distribution handled by Dark Symphonies' label partners around the world.
