MOONSTONE: More Audio Samples Posted Online

MOONSTONE, the project of Italian guitarist Matteo Filippini, has posted several new samples from the upcoming CD at the official web site, www.moonstone.it.

Described as "genuine British-oriented '70s classic rock," not a million miles removed from the likes of FREE, JIMI HENDRIX and DEEP PURPLE, the album features guest appearances by an all-star cast of musicians, including Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH), Graham Bonnet (RAINBOW, MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, ALCATRAZZ, IMPELLITTERI, BLACKTHORNE), Eric Bloom (BLUE ÖYSTER CULT), John Lawton (ex-URIAH HEEP), and Paul Shortino (ROUGH CUTT, QUIET RIOT, HEAVEN & EARTH). The album's tentative track listing is as follows:

01. Slave Of Time (Kelly Keeling on vox)
02. Not Dead Yet (Graham Bonnet on vox, Howie Simon guitar)
03. Fire & Water (cover version of FREE classic)
04. Rose In Hell (Glenn Hughes on vox, Ian Paice on drums)
05. Beggar Of Love (James Christian on vox)
06. Where Do You Hide The Blues You've Got (Glenn Hughes on vox, Ian Paice on drums)
07. City Of Lites (Steve Walsh on vox, Alex del Vecchio on keyboards)
08. Pictures Of My Lonely Days (Paul Shortino on vox, Carmine Appice on drums)
09. On The Way To Moonstone (Eric Bloom on vox, Daniel Flores on drums & keys, Johan Niemann on bass, Matt Nolberg on Hammond organ)
