October 1, 2003

Florida-based death metallers MONSTROSITY have been confirmed for the "Rock Al Parque" open air festival in Bogotá, Colombia on October 12.

The three-day event has two days of rock and a day of metal and MONSTROSITY will headline the metal day. The annual event is held at Parque Simón Bolívar in Bogotá's West and is free to the public. This will mark the band's second time in Bogotá, with their first appearance having taken place in Nov. 1998. The attendance for the event is estimated to be 30,000.

An MP3 of the new MONSTROSITY song "The Exordium" has been made available for download on the Conquest Music web site at this location. The song is taken from the group's new full-length studio album, "Rise To Power", which was released in the U.S. on September 23.
