MONSTER VOODOO MACHINE will play its first show in nine years on Thursday, August 9 at The Fun Haus (Queen St. W. @ Bathurst) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

MONSTER VOODOO MACHINE has been in the rehearsal room since last winter working on new material and crypt-kicking the cobwebs off of some VOODOO classics. It's still too early to know what the final Toronto show setlist will look like, but the band promises that the set will be about intense volume, violent distortion... and maximum damage.

Commented the group in a press release: "This won't be a one-off 'reunion' show. It's just the beginning of the latest VOODOO-esque horror / sci-fi / mad scientist movie sequel. It's been nine years since the band last blew up Frankenstein's lab and rocked it under the sawblade banner — and maybe it's the blood in the water, the fire in the skies or maybe the hell on earth, but it certainly feels like the right time to do it again."

The band lineup tearing up the stage this summer is:

Adam (Doom) Sewell - Vocals
Jason Cuddy - Guitar
Darren Quinn - Guitar
Terry Landry - Bass
Dean Bentley - Drums
Victor Rebelo (of MUNDANE) - Samplers / Keys
