MISTHERIA Working On New Instrumental Album

November 24, 2012

Virtuoso keyboardist Mistheria (ROB ROCK, BRUCE DICKINSON) is working on an instrumental album titled "Gemini", to be released in early 2013. According to the musician, "Gemini" is an instrumental metal effort which, unlike his previously released classical instrumental CDs — "Solo Piano" (2007) and "Keys Of Eternity" (2011) — definitely "marks" his "double-sided artistic career shared between the 'dark' metal side and the 'bright' classical side."

Joining Mistheria on the new album are the following three musicians:

* Roger Staffelbach (ARTENSION, ANGEL OF EDEN) - Guitar
* Steve DiGiorgio (SADUS, TESTAMENT, DEATH, ICED EARTH) - Bass
* John Macaluso (JAMES LABRIE, ARK, TNT, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, RIOT, STARBREAKER, HOLYHELL) - Drums

The drums have already been laid down for the CD, and according to Mistheria, "the recording session with John Macaluso was, once again, amazing and epic!"

A clip of John in action in this studio can be seen below.

The bass and guitar recording sessions are scheduled for between December 2012 and January 2013.

Regarding the album title, Mistheria says, "Gemini is my Zodiac sign which perfectly represents my musical soul."
