Swedish black metallers MISTELTEIN have issued the following update on their current activities:

"For the first there has been several lineup changes. Nagrinn [guitar] and Hel [keyboards] decided to leave MISTELTEIN as they no longer felt any interest in committing to the band. MISTELTEIN decided to go on starting with searching for replacements. The lead guitar has now been taken over by [John Huldt, who allso plays guitar in DYNAMIC], and for the [keyboards] Hel has been replaced by Farnargh and the bass will be played by Skorrgh [a.k.a. Ville Kemi from OBSCURE DIVINITY].

"After a long period of songwriting and rehearsing, a new album ('Nex Iehovae') finally began to take shape. The recording took place at Mystical Arts Studios between July and September of 2005. A deal was signed with Regain Records, and the album is now to be released in April 2006."

MISTELTEIN's second album, "Divine.Desecrate.Complete", was released in 2001 via No Fashion Records.
