MISFITS: U.K. Tour Postponed

July 7, 2005

MISFITS have issued the following update via their official web site:

"Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, day of show, July 6th, MISFITS drummer Robo was not permitted to enter the U.K. As a result, all U.K. dates have been postponed and will be rescheduled as soon as possible. Everyone involved are currently doing all in their power to expedite rescheduled dates.

"The MISFITS would like to thank all the Fiends who purchased tickets in advance, including all of you ticket holders for the SOLD-OUT show in England scheduled to take place July 6th. The band did not want to short change U.K. fiends or deliver anything less than their best. That would mean Jerry, Dez and Robo would need to perform together as planned, as opposed to Jerry and Dez entering the country (without Robo) to perform with an unrehearsed fill-in drummer.

"Rest assured, U.K. fiends, Jerry, Dez and Robo will return (together) to the U.K. shortly. Keep checking Misfits.com for info on the rescheduled U.K. dates. All involved apologize for the inconvenience, but know that the MISFITS are just as disappointed as you are and the circumstances were unavoidable and beyond anyone's control."
