MISERY INDEX Unable To Make Linköping Concert

January 11, 2009

Baltimore, Maryland metal masters MISERY INDEX have issued the following update:

"Sorry to everyone in Sweden, our tour vehicle broke down in Denmark last night and we are here waiting for repairs, so we unfortunately can not make it over to [the show in Linköping] Sweden tonight [Sunday, January 11], along with the other bands on tour [HATE ETERNAL, AEON and SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY]. We hope to make it back later this year, and of course next month we will be doing the Close-Up magazine cruise out of Stockholm, so hope to make it up then at least."

HardTimes.ca conducted an interview with MISERY INDEX's Sparky Voyles (guitar) and Jason Netherton (bass, vocals) on December 17, 2008 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Watch the 10-minute chat below.

MISERY INDEX recently completed a tour of the Midwestern U.S. and Canada alongside THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and SOILENT GREEN.

"Traitors", the new album from MISERY INDEX, was released on September 30 in North America via Relapse Records. The follow-up to "Discordia" was recorded in May at Godcity Studios in in Salem, Massachusetts.
