MISERY INDEX To Record New EP, Hit The Road

MISERY INDEX, the Baltimore, Maryland-based band featuring Jason Netherton (bass/vocals, ex-DYING FETUS),Sparky Voyles (guitar, ex-DYING FETUS, M.O.D.),Bruce Greig (guitar, ex-DYING FETUS, NEXT STEP UP) and Kevin Talley (drums, ex-DYING FETUS, SUFFOCATION, M.O.D.),have posted the following message on their web site:

"Greetings! We are leaving to go to Atlanta to record (and play a few shows in Alabama and Florida) on Wednesday, so here is a brief update.... We are tentatively recording 3 new songs for an EP, titled 'Dissent', and it should be out later this summer if all goes as planned. Songs included are 'The Imperial Ambition', 'Exception to the Ruled' and 'Multiply By Fire'.

"We also have the new DVD in stock finally, its simply called 'Misery Index DVD Volume 1', and it features a full live set from Athens, Greece last November, as well as highlights from a few shows in Quebec, and bonus on and offstage footage from the 2003 tours in US and Europe, roughly running about 90 minutes, for $10 postpaid. We also have a new shirt design featuring art for the 'Servants of Progress' track- check it out!

"Lastly, we are hitting the road in July for 3 weeks of dates leading up to Hellfest." The tentative dates are as follows:
