MIRROR OF DECEPTION Land New Rhythm Section

September 2, 2003

Long-running German doom metal band MIRROR OF DECEPTION have announced the addition of bassist Andreas Taller and drummer Jochen Müller to the group's ranks. Andreas and Jochen "were the first people that came to mind after the split [with the previous rhythm section] and they proved to be exactly the ones we were looking for," reads a post on the band's web site. "Drummer Jochen has played in the metal cover band GRAND FINAL STAND with our singer/vocalist Michael for some years. Andreas hasn't released anything with any other band so far."

The band are currently rehearsing for their upcoming live appearances and will soon start working on songs for their as-yet-untitled second album, due sometime in 2004.

Upcoming MIRROR OF DECEPTION dates:

Sep. 28 – Rotterdam, NETH - Baroeg (Dutch Doom Day II w/ EVOKEN, WHISPERING GALLERY DESIRE, ATARAXIE, BUNKUR, LAHAR)
Oct. 01 - Frankfurt/Main, GER - The Cave
Oct. 10 – Schorndorf, GER – Rockstar
Oct. 11 – Reutlingen, GER - Zelle
