5 Million Viewers Watch BRET MICHAELS Find His 'Rock Of Love' On VH1

Sunday night's (April 13) 90-minute season finale of "Rock of Love 2 with Bret Michaels" scored an impressive 3.5 18-49 rating, making it the #1 program on all of cable for the week. The all-new episode averaged 5 million total viewers and 3.9 million viewers in P18-49 demo. The finale also ranks as the fourth-highest-rated telecast in VH1 history.

The second season of "Rock of Love" proved to be another VH1 ratings hit out of the gate. The premiere episode earned a 2.6 in the key P18-49 demo, up +166% from the first season's premiere. The episode was the night's most watched cable program among P18-49 viewers and ranks among VH1's top 10 telecasts in the network's history. The series has averaged an impressive 1.9 P 18-49 rating and has attracted 2.7 million total viewers per episode since the premiere. In addition, "Rock of Love 2" has been the #1 original cable series on Sunday throughout its run.

"At the core of this series we have a rock icon in Bret Michaels who lives, loves and parties like a rock star and he does it with a genuine heart of gold," said Jeff Olde, EVP, Original Programming & Production, VH1. "That combination has clearly translated into a mega hit with the viewers and Bret's incredibly supportive fan base."

On the digital front, "Rock of Love 2 with Bret Michaels" propelled VH1.com to all-time highs in several categories. VH1.com saw its most trafficked day on Monday, April 14 as more than 1 million unique visitors flocked to the site for show-related video and VH1 Blog commentary. The record for 1-day video streams for a single franchise was also broken as more than 1.2 million "Rock of Love" video streams were logged in the 24 hours following the show's on-air finale. Additionally, VH1's vertical site FamousVH1Friends.com, which is home to the "Rock of Love" community for fans and the cast of show, saw its best day ever, as unique visitors to the site more than quadrupled on Monday, April 14.

Viewers can find out about Bret and Ambre's current relationship during a very controversial reunion special premiering this Sunday, April 20 at 9:00 p.m.

VH1's "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels" is created and executive produced by Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego for Mindless Entertainment and 51 Pictures. Jill Holmes, Kristen Kelly, Leah Horwitz and Jeff Olde oversee the series for VH1.

Bret Michaels was interviewed on ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on the April 9 episode.
