MICHALE GRAVES Announces New Drummer For Solo Band

May 30, 2005

Due to "prior commitment and circumstances," drummer Paul Lifeless (A LIFELESS ALLIANCE, MISTER MONSTER) has decided not to tour with former MISFITS frontman Michale Graves' new solo band. "He remains a great friend to all of us and we wish him the best," Michale writes on his web site. Replacing Lifeless on the trek will be Matt Johnson. "Matt has proved to be an incredibly talented individual who can bring his distinct style of playing to this genre of music," Graves writes.

Michale Graves' 2005 lineup will be as follows:

Michale Graves - Vocals
Loki (ANGELSIN, GRAVES guitar tech) - Guitar
JV Bastard (MISTER MONSTER) - Bass
Matt Johnson - Drums

As previously reported, Graves will be embarking on a U.K. solo tour in August. U.S. dates with TRASHLIGHT VISION will be announced soon. A complete list of currently confirmed tour dates can be found at this location.

Graves will release his solo album, "Punk Rock Is Dead", on June 21 via Horror High Records. The CD was written, recorded and produced in 30 days. Mastering duties were handled by Alan Douches at West West Side Music. The import version will contain a newly mixed and mastered version of the song "Butchershop". Audio samples of the cuts "Earth Vs. Spider" and "Punk Rock Is Dead" are available at this location.
