MICHAEL SCHENKER: Signed Guitar Being Auctioned

According to a posting on the Michael Schenker News And Tour Information web site, German producer/guitarist Siggi Schwarz is auctioning legendary guitarist Michael Schenker's (ex-SCORPIONS, UFO) Dean V on eBay. The guitar, which was autographed by Michael, was used during the recording sessions for MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP's latest album, "In The Midst Of Beauty". The auction ends on January 12.

"In the Midst of Beauty" was released on May 13, 2008 via Inakustic GMBH. The CD features returning MSG singer Gary Barden, drummer Simon Philips (THE WHO, TOTO), bassist Neil Murray (BLACK SABBATH, WHITESNAKE) and keyboardist Don Airey (DEEP PURPLE, OZZY OSBOURNE).

Schenker and Gary Barden have completed work on an acoustic album which is expected in the spring.
