MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP: Japanese Tour Dates Announced

According to a posting on the Michael Schenker News And Tour Information web site, Japanese concert promoter Zak Corporation has announced the dates for MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP's (MSG) 30th anniversary Japanese tour in January. They are as follows:

Jan. 12 - Tokyo, Japan - Nakano Sunplaza
Jan. 13 - Tokyo, Japan - Nakano Sunplaza
Jan. 14 - Nagoya, Japan - Diamond Hall
Jan. 15 - Osaka, Japan - Namba Hatch

The group's lineup for the shows will be as follows:

Michael Schenker - Guitar
Gary Barden - Vocals
Simon Phillips - Drums
Neil Murray - Bass
Wayne Findlay - Guitar, Keyboards

As previously reported, SCHENKER BARDEN ACOUSTIC PROJECT's October 12, 2009 concert at the Hard Rock Cafe in Cologne, Germany will be filmed/recorded for future release.

The band's lineup for the Cologne show will be as follows:

Michael Schenker - Guitar
Gary Barden - Vocals
Michael Voss - Guitar, Backing Vocals
Kai Luennemann - Drums, Percussion, Keyboards, Backing Vocals

Audio samples of all 12 tracks that appear on SCHENKER BARDEN ACOUSTIC PROJECT's first album, "Gipsy Lady", are available for streaming on Play.com.

"Gipsy Lady" was released on May 19 via Inakustik/MVD.
