MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP: Band Lineup For U.S., European Tours Announced

MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP has announced the lineup of musicians that will take part in the European and U.S. legs of the band's 30th-anniversary world tour. The details are as follows:

Europe - May/June:

* Michael Schenker - Lead Guitar
* Gary Barden - Vocals
* Chris Slade (ex-AC/DC/THE FIRM) - Drums (May/June)
* Pete Holmes - Drums (ex- BLACK N' BLUE) (July)
* Chris Glenn - Bass
* Wayne Findlay - Guitar/Keyboards

U.S. tour:

* Michael Schenker - Lead Guitar
* Gary Barden - Vocals
* Carmine Appice (ex-VANILLA FUDGE/JEFF BECK/OZZY OSBOURNE) - Drums
* Elliott "Dean" Rubinson (owner of Dean Guitars) - Bass
* Rev Jones - Bass (August 1 - end of tour)
* Wayne Findlay - Guitar/Keyboards

Professionally filmed video footage of MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP's January 2010 concert in Japan can be viewed below. The footage, which originally aired on March 27 on the Japanese TV channel NHK-BS2, is expected to surface on a DVD later this year.

The CD featured returning MSG singer Gary Barden, drummer Simon Philips (THE WHO, TOTO),bassist Neil Murray (BLACK SABBATH, WHITESNAKE) and keyboardist Don Airey (DEEP PURPLE, OZZY OSBOURNE).
