MICHAEL KISKE, DENNIS WARD To Begin Work On New PLACE VENDÔME Album

November 12, 2012

Michael Kiske (UNISONIC, ex-HELLOWEEN) has agreed to record a third PLACE VENDÔME album. His UNISONIC bandmate Dennis Ward will once again produce the CD, which will be tracked this winter for a tentative late summer/early fall 2013 release via Frontiers Records.

PLACE VENDÔME's second album, "Streets Of Fire", was released in February 2009 through Frontiers. The CD was recorded at Ward's studio in Karlsdorf, Germany, with Ward's PINK CREAM 69 bandmate Kosta Zafiriou and Gunther Werno of VANDEN PLAS laying down drums and keyboards, respectively. A promotional video for the song "My Guardian Angel" — written by Magnus Karlsson (BOB CATLEY, PRIMAL FEAR) — was included as a special interactive bonus on the album and marked Kiske's visual return to the scene after years of a self-imposed exile.
