Mexico's MONTERREY METAL FEST To Be Filmed For DVD Release

The first-ever Monterrey Metal Fest, set to be held on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at the Coca Cola Auditorium in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, will be filmed with 10 stationary, mobile and crane-mounted cameras and will be released in the future in DVD format worldwide, according to a press release from CAGE, one of the bands scheduled to appear at the festival. Other groups set to perform on the main stage include TWISTED SISTER, DIO, DOKKEN, QUIET RIOT, SHAMAN and HATEBREED.

The secondnd stage will feature the hottest Mexican metal bands currently on the scene: NEXT, EVILHEART, ARGOS, AGLAROND, CALVARIA, MARCO FERRIGNO-THE QUEST, STENTOR, EON, SKEPTIC UNIVERSE, DIVINA LEZ and AIWASS.

Monterrey Metal Fest Vol. 1 will be the largest heavy metal festival ever to be held in Mexico. The outdoor Coca Cola Auditorium has a capacity for over 20,000 persons.

The festival promoters, Day Dream Productions and Dark Vission Entertainment, plan on making the Monterrey Metal Fest an annual event.
