METALLICA To Play Special Fan-Club Show At Webster Hall In New York City

METALLICA will play a special intimate show at Webster Hall in New York City on Tuesday, September 27.

Says the band: "We just walked off the stage at the Global Citizen show in New York' s Central Park and we had such a blast that we' re going to keep the good vibes rolling by adding another show to our New York run! This Tuesday, September 27th, we'll be playing a special show for our Fifth Members only at the intimate Webster Hall and if you' re a member you have a chance to pick up tickets and join us.

METALLICA's tenth studio album, "Hardwired...To Self-Destruct", is scheduled for a November 18 release via Blackened Recordings. The long-awaited follow-up to 2008's "Death Magnetic" consists of two discs, containing a dozen songs and nearly 80 minutes of music.

"Hardwired...To Self-Destruct" was produced by Greg Fidelman with frontman James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich. The band recorded the disc at its own studio.

METALLICA will next appear at Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit in Mountain View, California on October 22 and October 23.
