METALLICA's 'Death Magnetic' Is Fastest-Selling Album Of Year In Australia

Paul Cashmere of Undercover News reports that METALLICA's "Death Magnetic" has topped the Australian album chart this week with sales of 55,877 units in the past seven days.

If you include one-day sales from the first day of release (September 12) last week, "Death Magnetic" has sold 60,726 units.

In Australia, "Death Magnetic" is now the fastest-selling album of the year.

METALLICA has no less than five LPs on this week's ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) chart:

01. Death Magnetic
24. Metallica
33. Master Of Puppets
36. …And Justice For All
38. Ride The Lightning
