METALLICA was honored with the "Ballsiest Band" award at the third annual Spike Guys' Choice Awards, which was taped last night (Saturday, May 30) in Culver City, California. METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich and bassist Robert Trujillo were there to collect the award, which was presented to them by the members of the Canadian heavy metal band ANVIL.

The Spike Guys' Choice Awards are based on international voting by fans and viewers of Spike.

The program will air on June 21 at 10:00 p.m. EST.
