METALLICA Guitarist To Sign Copies Of 'Horror' Book At 'Mad Monster Party'
METALLICA guitarist Kirk Hammett will make a rare convention appearance for an extremely limited signing of his new book, "Too Much Horror Business - The Kirk Hammett Collection", on Saturday, March 23 at Mad Monster Party 2013 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Also scheduled to appear is original KISS drummer Peter Criss.
Mad Monster Party is a three-day monster convention with celebrity guests, horror memorabilia vendors, monster exhibits (this year features the world's biggest collection of "Jaws" original screen used props and memorabilia), the Crypt Critter exhibit with live snakes, arachnids and insects (with a rare photo op with wrestling superstar Jake "The Snake" Roberts with a live Burmese python sponsored by Cold Blooded Encounters), a vintage Midnight Spook Show, macabre magic acts and more!

"Too Much Horror Business" came out on September 25. The oversized 228-page hardback book documents Hammett's love of all things related to the horror genre and features more than 300 photos of items from the collection of horror memorabilia he has accumulated over the years. The book also includes three lengthy interviews with Hammett, who also wrote the captions for many of the photos.
