METALLICA Drummer's Collaboration With Rapper Ends Up On Cutting-Room Floor

METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich's collaboration with WU-TANG's RZA on the score to director Quentin Tarantino's long-awaited new film, "Kill Bill: Volume 1", is not expected to appear on the motion picture's commercially released soundtrack album, due on September 23. No reason was given for the exclusion of Ulrich's contributions from the final product.

"Kill Bill" was previously thought to be the first soundtrack for which Ulrich had been asked to help write original music.
