"Shed" comes off the Swedish experimental extreme metallers' latest album, "Catch 33" which sold 6,954 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 170 on The Billboard 200 chart.

The follow-up to 2002's "Nothing", "Catch 33" is being described as one continuous 47-minute song divided into 13 parts and is said to be "musically the opposite" of the group's 2004 EP, "I".

As previously reported, Nuclear Blast Records have officially confirmed that MESHUGGAH have re-signed with the label ("Catch 33" was the band's final CD under their previous contract).

MESHUGGAH have hinted in recent interviews that they may embark on a U.S. tour in the fall. At press time, no American dates have yet been announced.

"Nothing" has sold approximately 80,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
